4. WBCOOP! (Qualifying event results)
1. Only managed to put in 2300 hands since last post, which is unfortunately, pretty shitty. I ended up playing about 17 full out tournaments today which is why my cash game volume is so low. I'm starting to think it's much more worthwhile to just play cash games on saturday'/sundays and maybe bump in a couple tournaments which are best value. The tournaments went absolutely atrocious. I've never gotten it in with 80% equity and lost so many times before. I'm pretty sure I've been 2 outtered about 7 times today lol. (brag that it's so low :) I managed to only cash in the 2$(euro) for +4 euros, and 5$ 2R1A for 23$ (which i bought in/re-bought 2xs +added on for net gain of 2.5$ after rake). Overall today I'm about -100$ in tournament entries /rebuys/addons. This sucks because I've been down swinging hardcore in tournaments, even though I feel I'm playing my best. I'm down about 500$ since my last big score in tournaments (overall down 230ish). Pretty shitty downswing for a 1$-11$ MTT grinder. With an average buy in of 8$, that's like a 63 buy in downswing lol.
2. In cash games, I can't seem to pull of a good session. Over the last 2k hands im -130$ (-100 after rakeback). Tough luck. The regs I thought to have a big edge over, have been playing better lately. Some of these guys know my tendencies, or at least that's what it seems like. I need to focus on how they're adjusting, and if they are adjusting to my play. Lastly, I've been faced with a lot of tough decisions against these regs, and I'm not sure if I played my best in those spots. Also, I'm not sure that, even if I was playing my best, my actions would be the best or +EV ones (in those tough spots). I''ll learn, but for now I need to focus on just playing with more fish. And I just want to put in a lot of volume and get that bonus. Overall, after 20k hands i'm +490 after RB/bonus.
3. On my weekends, I think I should plan on doing this:
1. Grind cash games/find best tables
2. Add in a couple (1-3) tournaments that are best value.
3. Eat/shower before session, and plan on taking breaks once tourneys are over.
The tournaments are absolutely too time consuming for me to play in them. It's affecting my volume, my relationship and my A-game negatively in this past month. So given that I think I need to Cut out playing so many and just do what I planned on doing with the cash games.
4. After playing 2 WBCOOP qualifying events, I have won a seat to the Main event, and 1 11$ Scoop ticket + 1 33$ scoop ticket. I'm not sure if I can trade these in, because I would really like to do so if the tournament isn't good value. I'm unsure if I can play in the WBCOOP tomorrow because I need to hang out with my GF+ her family like I promised at the beginning of the week. I will try to get back in time for it, but if it passes, I'm totally fine with that.

Results update and WBCOOP!
1. WBCOOP

3. Graph
1. So i played the Omaha HI/LOW qualifying event, and place in 16th. This means I recieve a main event ticket + a 33$ SCOOP ticket. I'm not sure if I want to play in the scoop, and I don't know if I can un-register out and get the funds. But none-the-less, the tourney was super soft and nobody knew what they were doing. I might be looking to get into HI/LOW omaha tournaments now since they are so soft and easy to learn. ( I think learning a spread of games will help me in the future anyways.)
2. Results: I've been running pretty well over the last 7k hands. I'm only 2 buyin's above EV but have made about 10 more buyins, and about 1 more buyin in rakeback. I've managed to play around 1k-1.5k hands a day, every single day since last post. I'm pretty happy with that :)

V.S player tab on Holdem Manager.
I just found out that there is a tab under "Cash Games" (below "graphs"), where you can double click on all of the players you have faced, and see all of their hand histories you have on them. I never realized this before and mostly just critique my own play. However, after fiddling around with it I can see hundreds of hands on my opponents where they got to showdown. This is such a great tool to exploiting my opponents play. I must have written about 5 notes on each of the reg's i mostly play with. For instance, I have a 2k hand sample on this one reg, and after reviewing his hands and stats, he folds almost 85% of the time when he checks, on any street. This is the player I have been owning lately and he hasn't adjusted to me yet. So until he does, and if he checks, I'm going to bet every time and print money. Can you see how valuable this is?
The main part how this is such a great tool isn't just looking at their stats, but it's me looking at there hands and seeing what they are doing versus other regs, me, and fish. I've spent most of the day studying their hand histories, and learning about them. I've got to say, they are making a LOT more mistakes than I am, which makes me more confident playing against them. But, some of the hands are a month old, and the player could have been tilting or whatever, so I know not to just have these notes set in stone as players constantly change.
Lastly, I watched the 2+2 pokercast last night, i think it was the second to last one that was posted. It was the one with a HU specialist and he talked for a while about how just not tilting is such an edge over some one who does not tilt. There's a bunch of solid advice in their and I recommend it. Peace.

Just a little update +giraffe =)
So this week has been great, I got to my classes and they are all really GR88. lol, So I've been playing some cash hands lately. I've been trying to get back in the swing of things but it's been sluggish to say the least.
1. My game.
2. Rakeback
3. Challenge!
1. I'm really happy with my game VS the regulars at 25nl. I havent had more than a couple big all in pots pre flop, and have managed to run about 20$ below EV which I am really happy about lol. The regs have been sucking against me, or I may be owning them. Either way I'm able to get in good spots vs. the fish and recognize how obvious it is what the regs are doing, and print money :) It honestly feels like the old days back in summer of 09 when I played 10k hands (lol smaple size) and i was able to move up with my winnings. That's not a brag, variance is still insane and will even out if I am winning more than i should. Ahh poker. Say-La-Vee
2. I managed to play every day since thursday and ended up putting in a 2k hand session today which went well. I'll be looking to put in around a 4k hand session tomorrow, whilst grinding out the big tournaments that I play on stars. GR88.com has some insane bonuses right now. With rakeback (35%), my 750$ deposit bonus, and this new promotion they have coming out, I think its safe to say im getting close to 45% or more rakeback. Also, thats not even including the VPP's you get from paying rake. These VPP's have a $ value of 100:1$. Which i can cash in anytime by buying into a tournament directly with VPP's or buying the 50,000 or 5000 vpp bonuses. It's pretty, pretty, pretttty good.
3. As for the challenge, I've manage to spend 0$ so far. I'm kind of in wait-and-see mode with my book-budget right now since I have no clue which ones I'll need. I do however know that I will have to spend 250$ on my phone bill for the entire semester, and should spend around 200$ on "dates" with my gf, throughout the semester. I think I'm going to allow myself 100$ of discretionary spending for the 3.5 months of school. This may sound a little or alot, but it seems kind of high for me considering I don't need to buy anything, like ever lol. So with 909$ in bank, 250$ goes to phone, 200$ to dates, 100$ to spending on anything, and the rest for books/ profit?. I think books might cost close to 300$ so I just might make it with money left over :)

Low-roller to high-baller Bankroll Update.
1.
1. Bank roll
2. Winter break confusion
3. Fuck books.
4. Challenge.
5. Gameplan.
6. Recap
1. So my bank roll right now is about 1700$. I have 6k FPP's which could be worth around 90$ if I play the 235 FPP Hyper turbo's and win in 33% of them. But if i need cash instantly, its around 65$ worth (cash bonuses).
2. I'm not sure exactly now, how much i made during break, it could have been anywhere from 500$ to 800$ after Steve looked over my sharkscope, and I negated my loses from cash games. I'm not even thinking about that, just thought I'd update it though.
3. I want to have a 4k bankroll by the time summer comes around. I think this is possible if I do not cash out and actually put in a decent amount of volume. I don't have to cash out at all right now, and I have around 900 in my bank. BUT, I have to buy 20 books this semester for only 5 classes... 20 BOOKS!?!?! lol. Most of them are cheapos, but there are at least 3 that could be 100$ each. That's going to be tough for my balance to live off of for 4 months. I'm going to be tightening up my spending in order to survive. Therefore, I'm doing a challenge!!
4. My challenge is to survive off of X dollars for 4 months. I will figure out what this X amount will be in the next few days. Most likely it will consist of a figure that is my bills for the next few months, and some small denomination for dates with my girlfriend and whatever. I will be posting it in 2+2 when i have that number figured out, and then repost in here. It's gunna be fun :)
5. I should able to make around 600$ a month (with rakeback) until the summer. If I can do this, then my online bankroll will be 4k$. I'm going to have to take advantage of GR88 poker's 700$ deposit bonus that I have unlimited time to complete. This kind of sucks for a few reasons:
1. No VPP's will be earned on stars if I'm playing on GR88. (will make it harder to get Supernova)
2. I don't have much information on the player pool over on GR88.com
3. It's 100bb poker, this could be a good thing, but it's going to make it harder to multi-table.
6. So, I'm going to be playing on GR88.com mostly, and Stars less. I'm going to play on Sunday's and saturdays the most and dedicate around an hour per weekday to poker. That should give me around 65 hours per month to poker. If im playing close to 10 tables it could be around 50k hands a month. That's pretty ideal for my situation. Wish me luck!!

Some goals have been achieved. Grab the champagne. (revised)
So I had some lifetime goals which I did in the past month, as well as some short term goals which I finished since being back from college. I figured I would post some screenshots and some graphs of the month's totals. Here it is:
1. Hold 1 million chips in a tournament.
2. Hold 2 million chips in a tournament.
3. Make 1k in a month of play from tourneys/sngs (monthly total)
4. Tournament rant
5. Game plan?
6. Supernova!
1.

Note the live sweat by Erik ;) I'm pretty happy I was able to do this within the month of being back. It was only like a 1 or 2$ buyin, but none the less pretty cool.
2.

I ended up in placing 4th in that tournament for around 500$. It was my biggest score in a tournament to date. (although I did place 3rd in a 4$ 2 rebuy 1 Addon the week before for 400$)
3.

My hourly was around 9$ according to my HM, not too bad for a kid making it on his own ;) I ended up averaging about 35 hours a week for the month. I'm feeling really good about that. 35 hours a week wasn't the most I could've done, but it's definitely the most I've played in any given month. Sweet.
This month has been great. The results are skewed, however. I really made closer to 1000$ than what my HM says. This is because my HM doesn't track when I rebuy or addon. So it's about 200$ or so less than what the graph says.
4.This month I've made a bunch of deep runs/final tables in some tournaments which I felt really happy with. Tournaments are really soft and are a great money maker. However, the variance in tournaments is huge. With the large fields and even worse, the structures, it's really hard to make deep runs consistently. Lastly, the "good" tournaments which I feel I do really well in, do not run all the time. Not only that, but most tournaments take close to 5 hours just to get close to the money. And, it's really tough to play 20 tournaments, which each last longer than 5 hours, in one day. And you can't really mass multi-table them that easily because the dynamics and game flow have so much influence on your decisions. That said, tournaments are not what I feel I can adapt my lifestyle and monetary needs to. I've realized this after putting in about 200 tournaments in the last 7 poker playing days, and losing almost all of them. The SNG's are for sure better for me to grind. However, it'll get harder to grind those in school as I'll only be able to put in less than an hour or 2 to grind each day. But, I'm not "switching" back to cash. I'm never just going to constrict myself to any game which i get into the mindset of doing. But, I would still like to specialize in some form of poker eventually and just try to be the best in it.
5. I would like to write out some form of game plan for next semester for poker. I think I'm mostly going to be grinding the cash games, and making sure I put in as much volume on the weekends as I'm able to. Sunday's are going to be my tournament days for sure. No matter what, I'm always going to try and play the tournaments because they are insane-soft-saw. Ill probably have days in the week where i can play sng's (3's 5's 10's, whatever the BROLL is willing). The 25nl 50bb games are really soft and I'll try to get the best hourly there, but I need to re-learn and get some cash games knowledge going again. I would like to have a 4k online Broll if I were to play 50nl again. With 100 buyins I will feel ultra comfortable there, especially since I feel I can really beat those games even in my skill level now. But, the variance is huge, and the skill margin is relatively small. So, 100 BI it is.
6. So, I already have 1% of supernova accrued all ready, easy game amiright? (lol at 1k vpps) I'm going to get supernova this year. It's insane for me not to. It'll probably add 10k to my earnings just from rake back. I'm going to need at least a 4k bank roll in order to get supernova the way I want to. I don't want to be stuck at 25nl paying insane rake. With a 4k bank roll, I can see myself getting supernova in 3-4 months time. (25k vpps a month or more.) The perfect time frime for me to get it is in the summer. I'm sure I can get that 10-12 tabling for like 5 hours a day. So heres the deal, I need a decent broll ($4k) by the summer to achieve supernova and not be a frantic mess. Got it.

Finally! New post! +with updates +giraffes!

I'm gunna throw in a graph or two first just to keep you guys happy ;)
The results for cash are from dec 1st-now, the tourney results are from november (only like 190 games) till now.
I love how i lost a 300bb pot allin pre w ak vs 72o. i legitimately lol'ed. overall since like my big downswing from the cash games im down about 1200 to ev. pretty sick for a micro nl player. but, i mean overall from cash im about 600$ under ev which isnt that bad. I'm not complaining its just something i looked up and thought was kinda funny.
Thats all for now, don't feel like writing, but i havent made one in 2 weeks :O
